measurements and goals | may 2014

create healthy habits

monthly update:

things i did well in april:  clean eating (except weekends).  lost four pounds!  counting calories and hitting the mark nearly every day (again, except weekends).  being positive.  planning my meals.  consistent workouts.

things i still need to work on:  weighing myself two much.  staying motivated and focused through the weekend.  meal prepping.  not pushing my wrist before it’s ready.

here’s my measurements from may 1st:

here are the changes in inches from april to may:

  • chest = +1
  • bust = 0
  • waist = -1
  • arms = -.5
  • midway = 0
  • hips = 0
  • thighs = 0
  • knees = -.5

*i use the measurement chart from this post.

i lowered my calories by 100 this month and i definitely saw some changes.  finally!  i’m going to continue at 1500-1700 for a few more weeks.  if i plateau again, i’m going to raise or lower my calories since that actually worked.  i’m proud of my progress.  i just need to stay motivated and keep going!

1.  to kill it this month and hit my “dirty thirty” {may 17th!} in quite possibly the best shape of my life!

2.  to lose a half inch or inch around my midsection and tone it up more.

3.  to accept and trust the process, no matter how slow.

4.  to finish reading “master your metabolism” by jillian michaels.

5.  to continue to stay focused on my personal mantra daily.  (if you’re interested in why and how i choose this personal mantra, check out this post)

6.  and when in need some motivation…

do the crazy thing
