…one… i got back to my workouts this week. i got in some good ones too! school is kicking my ass. i’m exhausted at the end of the day, but it’s going well. there’s issues, but we’re working through them. and i’m still laughing every day so that’s something. i’m struggling with finding motivation to keep it up after the difficult and tiring days, but it is what it is.
….two… i started a new devotional for the first time in an embarrassing amount of time. i’m using an app called “she reads truth”. it’s super easy and convenient. it’s helping me get my mind back on the things that are important. i’m working on the hebrews study right now. i’m having to take little steps but as long as i’m moving forward, that’s all that matters to me right now. it is what it is.
…three… my september birchbox was amazing. love it all. that’s all i have to say. it is what it is.
(i also got my first stitch fix box this week! i’m doing a whole special post on it next week. let’s just say…it’s incredible.)
…four… last friday was homecoming. and it was the most exciting game. we were down by seven with 11 seconds to go. we ran the ball all the way down the field, scored, and got the extra point to win the game. it was truly incredible. needless to say, the mood lifted through the roof and the dance was super entertaining to chaperone. we’ll see how tonight’s game goes. you never know with our team. it is what it is.
…five… this normally wouldn’t be a “good thing” that happened, but the guy i was dating and me…we decided to stop seeing each other. it’s strange. there wasn’t any drama. it wasn’t working out. i think i knew that deep down. it’s called a breakup because it’s broken. i just didn’t want to be the one to say anything about it because i can be a coward like that. but he did have the courage to do it. and surprisingly…it was fine. in fact, i was relieved. and he did it in a very respectful and nice way, the way that it’s supposed to be done. best breakup ever? 🙂 it is what it is.
