call the midwife by jennifer worth – i love the pbs miniseries and i knew i would like this one!  it was sad and sweet.  there are a few more in the series and i want to read them all by the end of the year.

wild by cheryl strayed – i picked this one up again.  i’m a natural re-reader and this one is just calling my name.

little big lies by liane moriarty – i’m about halfway through.  i’m intrigued…

{favorite new music, tv shows, movies}

the fall season 2 – this is an excellent bbc/netflix series.  i LOVE crime dramas, and i’ve been waiting nearly a year for season two.  it did not disappoint.  jamie dornan is soooo creepy and yet so attractive.  it messes with your head.  the whole show messes with your head…in the best way possible.

selma was amazing.  go see it.  it’s an important part of history.

death comes to pemberley – this pbs mini series is now on netflix.  i definitely fed my jane austen addiction.

  1. YAY! I was so excited when Netflix had that little “New Episodes” banner across The Fall! It is so good. We’ve been waiting to start it until we finish Lillehammer (which is also good!). I’ve also got Death at Pemberly on my list. And, call me stupid, but didn’t realize Call the Midwife was based on a book (or series). I’m so excited!
