1•15 | high five for friday!

H54F from tattooedteacherintexas.com

first things first…a friend’s mom (also a past school colleague and mentor to me) had surgery related to her breast cancer diagnosis.  the surgery went well, thank the Lord!

school has been a little crazy but good.  i’ve been really want this semester to leave school at school. my evenings are for me.  since the 1st, i have been working out regularly and eating well.  i have a lot of work to do, but i already feel better (does that include sore too?) and i’m feeling motivated againleg day

my birchbox this month was fantastic!  i probably won’t use the nail polish though because i’m not a bright red kind of gal…or as my nonnie would have said, “whore red”.  🙂

i went and saw “sisters” this past weekend.  it was so funny.  stupid, kind of sweet, but funny.  that’s kind of my ideal comedy.  maybe that’s why i loved “trainwreck” so much.

one of my best friends is getting married, and she asked me to design her wedding invitations.  at first, i was intimidated but so happy to be involved in the planning process.  i am a planner girl, after all.  so i got to work and got creative, and it turned out to be so much fun.  i’ll share them when the time is right!
